ABOUT KIFE 2020
After having built a successful track record over the past two decades, Kunming International Flower Expo of China (KIFE), established in 1995, has grown into a leading floral industry event in Asia. KIFE 2019 covered a total exhibition area of over 50,000 square meters, gathering over 400 leading floral companies to showcase their newest products, seeds, materials, facilities, processing, and floral services. At KIFE 2020, new floral products and cultivating technologies will be shared, offering the latest industry intelligence and updated quotes to traders, floral retailers, and e-commerce players. In addition, the rich onsite activities and forums featured during the course of KIFE share hot industry topics and help drive momentum, allowing visitors to communicate face-to-face with industry leaders and floral masters. Organizer: Yunnan Provincial Flower Technology Training & Promotion Center
Established in 2006, the center provides a bridge between the provincial government and the flower industry. By running diverse events, conducting training, testing new flower species, introducing and promoting new technologies, showcasing flowers, generating statistics and promoting the floral industry, the center provides comprehensive, multi-level support for Yunnan’s flower trade.
The Center has conducted over 500 training sessions on various subjects. Every year, it trains over 2,000 workers in the flower industry. The trainings cover a broad range of topics, including planting skills, pest prevention and control, and post-harvest processing.
